The Bay Area Design4Living Conferences have been a source of encouragement for many women in Northern California for many years. 2012 is a year of re-evaluating the time and resources put into every area of Design4Living Ministries. Because of this a 2012 conference has not been scheduled.

If your church would like to host a Design4Living Conference or event, please contact us and we can begin the process of praying about the possibility!
Below is a sampling of what the 2011 conference offered the women who attended.

Women's Conference
May 20-21, 2011
Schedule
Friday 6:30pm — 9:30pm
Saturday 8:30am — 3:00pm
Doors open at 5:45pm on Friday May 20th and the event will begin promptly at 6:30pm.
Full Conference Registration
Adults: $50 per person
Students: $40 per person
Conference cost includes material and continental breakfast.
Lunch options
Saturday Lunch is optional and costs $8. You may wish to bring your own lunch or go to a local fast food restaurant OR you can buy a lunch ticket for $8. Lunch will be a grilled Chicken breast sandwich on focaccia bread with a pesto spread, chips, fruit and a cookie, provided by Bonehead's Texas BBQ. Delish! We taste-tested this yummy meal.
Coming with a group?
Groups of 10 or more may register for $40 per person (must register as a group).
Can't come for the full conference?
Friday Only — $20 per person
Saturday Only — $35 per person

This Year's Theme
Our Theme this year is CHANGED.
God is in the people business. He is at work in Human Lives-shaping, changing, healing, and transforming us-as we are formed more and more into His image. This is nothing to be taken lightly. Like clay in the potter's hand, so are we in the hands of God. The power of God is at work, and this year we want women of all ages to leave our conference excited about God's work within them. It's not enough to know the verses we read in the Bible-it's time to live them-to breathe them-to be changed by them!
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2

Francesca Battistelli (website)
Francesca Battistelli will be LIVE and in concert on Friday night!
Her music has been played on show such as, ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, NBC's The Biggest Loser, FOX's So You Think You Can Dance, and the Style Network's Running in Heels. You may recognize the songs Free to Me or Beautiful Beautiful. Francesca has received several Dove Award nominations-she picked up the "Female Vocalist of the Year" and "Short Form Video" awards in April 2010—as well as a Grammy nomination en route to selling nearly half a million copies and three-quarters-of-a-million downloads. She is a wife and a new mother of a precious baby boy.
Lisa Harper (website)
Lisa Harper, Women of Faith speaker and best selling author is a hilarious storyteller and theological scholar. Those terms are rarely used in the same sentence, but Lisa is not stereotypical!
Her vocational resume includes six years as the director of Focus on the Family's national women's ministry where she created the popular Renewing the Heart conferences, attended by nearly 200,000 women, followed by 6 years as the women's ministry director at a large church in Nashville. Her academic resume includes a Masters of Theological Studies with honors from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis. You will not want to miss this gifted communicator that connects the dots between the Bible and modern life in a fun and relevant way!
Debbie Alsdorf (website)
Debbie Alsdorf has been leading women for the past 25 years. She serves as a Women's Ministry Director, author, speaker and the founder of Design4Living Ministries, a ministry that exists to equip women to Live Up! in the life God has designed for them. She and her husband Ray have raised a blended family of four adult children, and now live in their empty nest with their two little dogs and cat. She has served on the pastoral staff of Cornerstone Fellowship, for the past 14 years.
Potter's Field Ministries (website)
We are excited to have Potter's Field Ministries. The Rozell's, present a dramatic and musical presentation that expresses a vivid illustration of the relationship that mankind has with God, the Master Potter and us as the clay. Michael's skills, visually communicating as a potter with his wheel and clay, harmonize beautifully along with his wife, Pam's gifts, as a singer/songwriter. Together, they create a unique audio/visual demonstration of God's love and enduring concern for His creation. The Rozell's presentation is a living parable that weaves testimony with songs, interspersed with humorous stories and poignant vignettes which bring to life the ancient truths of the Bible.
