Workshop Sessions

Living in the Meantime

It's Wild to think that we can learn to live well when life is hard. Sometimes life is mean--lost jobs, lost relationships, lost hopes, lost dreams. Knowing that God will be faithful in the end, how does a woman live in the mean places of life? The in-between places in the middle of the panic, the middle of the crisis, or the middle of the waiting room. This session brings biblical instruction and ten practical steps for living in the meantime.

Sue Boldt

Lord, I'm Listening...

It's Wild to think that God really speaks to people today. It may surprise you that God is constantly speaking to us individually and wants us to hear His voice. He is not a God far off, but very near and wanting to speak to His daughters individually, everyday. This session will inspire and encourage women in the practical habit of listening to God.

Pam Frink

The Adoption Option

It's Wild to think that God might call you to raise and love a child from another mother. Maybe your heart aches when you see children in need, or perhaps you haven't been able to have children of your own. This session takes a look at some of the mysteries veiling adoption and provides a biblical perspective on adoption as an option. You will also receive a practical overview of adoption procedures and a tender look through an adoptive mother's eye.

Renee Johnson

Devotional Time With God

It's Wild to think that we can actually learn to love our daily moments with God. Devo time--we all talk about it, but are we really doing it? It sounds simple and in theory it is, but in our busy lives, it is much more difficult to live out. In this session, Renee Johnson, tagged by friends as the Devotional Diva will speak about the how-to's of seeking God, from her own experience of ten years of regular devotional times with God.

Rick Johnson

Raising Kids with Character

It's Wild to think we can raise good kids today. With all the negative influences out there, how can parents raise kids with character? You want your son to become a man of courage and integrity, with a good work ethic and a healthy understanding of love and responsibility. You want your daughter to be an empowered, self-sufficient, fulfilled, loving woman of character who makes wise choices in her relationships. This session will help you discover how to raise kids of character by developing a specific plan that will help you navigate the challenges of parenting in your way.

Trusting God During Temptation

It's Wild to think that God can give us power and strength to follow him and trust him even when tempted to go the opposite direction. But, ever since Satan lured Eve away from the Truth, we've been tempted to believe the lie that God is holding out on us. We easily believe that there is more happiness and joy outside of the restrictions we feel God has put on us. But, the truth is--Jesus has come to restore what Satan has stolen from you! Come learn what to do in the midst of temptations and expectations women face.

Georgia Shaffer

How NOT to Date a Loser

It's Wild to think God desires to guide us in all areas, even our dating relationships. In a world filled with relational confusion, those who are single, divorced or widowed, often struggle with knowing how to find and sustain good relationships. This session addresses the issues that challenge today's singles and offers practical strategies for building the healthy lasting relationships you really want.

Dayspring Tomkins

Change Your Mind - Change Your Life!

It's Wild to think that our lives can be changed by the renewing of our mindsÉbut it's the truth. All of us have a level of mental noise and a "normal" pattern of thinking that we seldom challenge. In this session you will be encouraged to look at how easily you get mentally sidetracked in ways that you don't even realize because you think it's just normal to live in doubt, worry or fear.

Dr. Catherine Hart Weber

Cultivating Emotional Wellness

It's Wild to think that in Christ we can become emotionally healthy, whole and happy. In this session you will discover how to experience more positive emotions such as peace, joy, gratitude, kindness and hope. Learn healthy ways to 'intentionally' live an 'abundant life', being resilient regardless of your circumstances.

Leslie Vernick

The Emotionally Destructive Relationship

It's Wild to think that God desires to give us strength to deal with the unhealthy relationships in our lives. This session will look at the anatomy of a destructive relationship--Seeing It! Stopping It! Surviving It! This powerful workshop offers practical, biblical wisdom to help those stuck in destructive relationship patterns. Leslie has helped hundreds of women move beyond their fears and learn to live free.

Janice Gutierrez

The Busy Women's Guide to the Spiritual Disciplines

It's Wild to think that you can focus on your relationship with God in the midst of your over-packed days. It's time to grow spiritually despite a plateful of responsibilities, demands and commitments. It's time to stop putting your soul and your relationship with God on the back burner. In this workshop you'll learn how to make some simple choices and changes that will make a difference in your walk with God.
